Storytelling & Lectures

For outdoor events, we can bring our pirate ship stage!

"Eric spoke at a business banquet for me.  It was late at night after a long day, but he held everyone's attention with his lively and humorous storytelling.  Bob the parrot was entertaining, too!  Eric really knows his pirate history and went from table to table answering questions.  He was very patient and friendly, posing for photos and chatting with my attendees.  If he was that good in a banquet room, I can just imagine how much fun he must be on a walking tour.  His outfit was great, too.  All around, a terrific package - good costume, good storyteller, great stories, funny parrot.  You will not be disappointed!"  Hope Silverman, FSA

"Eric and Capt. Bob were awesome!  The kids enjoyed Eric coming out to speak about pirates in the area." Will McElheny, Isle of Palms Rec Dept.

"Both Eric and Bob were wonderful! Kids and adults are still talking about them! Thank you so much." Eva Stratos,Belle Hall Elementary

"Thank you so much for your recent visit and special presentations at The Schiele Museum in Gastonia, NC.  We really found your programs to be interesting, educational, and great for all ages!  Thank you for all the time you spent with our guests and for going the extra mile.  We would love to have you back here very soon and highly recommend you to other museums, schools, or families! A++++++++++  We love Capt Bob; he was great!!!!"  Amy Ballard, Schiele Museum of Natural History

We offer lectures & storytelling presentations that keep audiences of all ages on the edge of their seats. From corporate dinners & community events to museums and schools, Eric has entertained thousands across the southeast with his dynamic presentations.

The Pirate program explores the “Golden Age of Piracy” and how it impacted Charles Towne.  Eric brings to life the pirates, who visited our fair shores: Stede Bonnet, Blackbeard, Jack Rackham, Richard Worley, Charles Vane, and of course the notorious female pirates, Mary Read and Anne Bonny.

Our Ghost presentation features the stories that make Charleston one of the country’s most haunted cities.  From the mischievous, but harmless, little slave boy, George, and the notorious murderess Lavinia Fisher to Edgar Allen Poe’s Annabelle Lee and a headless soldier, Charleston’s ghost tales will, in turn, scare you, touch you, and even make you laugh.  Above all, they will entertain you!
